NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the registration process of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 by February 27, according to a report by Times of India. The NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2024 exam from May 15 to 31, 2024. The CUET 2024 exam is expected to be conducted in hybrid mode by the NTA this year.
The CUET 2024 exam will be conducted in OMR sheets for candidates to appear for the exam particularly from the rural areas. Candidates can now select up to 6 subjects, instead of 10. Applicants can choose 4 domain papers, 1 language paper, and 1 general test paper, or 3 domain papers, 2 language papers, and 1 general test paper. The CUET 2024 exam is likely to be held in a single shift to reduce the number of exam days.
The NTA will conduct the CUET 2024 exam in three shifts – morning, afternoon and evening. The duration of the slot 1 is 120 minutes, slot 2 and slot 3 is 90 minutes. The CUET 2024 exam will be conducted in four sections each having 50 questions.

The CUET 2024 exam will be held to offer admissions for UG programmes in the participating universities across India. Last year, a total of 13.95 lakh students registered for CUET UG. Among them, 6.51 lakh were female candidates and 7.48 lakh were male candidates.
